Our specially sourced Raw Organic Cacao Liquor from Peru is made from Criollo cacao by stone-griding the raw beans. Cacao liquor is used to make dark chocolate, and is also used traditionally by Aztecs and the South American indigenous community who brew raw cacao into a fine, silky but bitter drink said to nourish and open the heart.
The liquor contains all the benefits of cacao butter, as well as cacao powder. Cacao liquor is rich in antioxidants, and has one of the highest ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) containing more than blueberries, Acai berry and Goji Berry.
