The silky texture of our Activated Organic Tahini makes the most perfect hummus. Try out this recipe to use as a delicious spread, a creamy base for sauces, or to have as a quick and healthy snack.


  • 425g sprouted or canned organic chickpeas
  • 2 cloves organic garlic
  • 3 tbsp organic fresh lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup Activated Organic Tahini
  • 3/4 tsp Mountain Spring Salt
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp organic cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Optional seasonings, such as coriander, paprika, etc


  • Add the garlic, lemon juice, salt, olive oil, cumin and water to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth
  • Drain and rinse the chickpeas and add to the mixture
  • Purée until smooth, pausing and scraping down the sides as needed. If the mixture is too thick, add 1-2 tbsp more water
  • Season to taste with more lemon juice, salt or other optional seasonings such as coriander, paprika, etc
